'S.H.I.E.L.D.' Is Missing A Few Of Its Agents

With a cliffhanger like that, it's no wonder that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is going on a brief hiatus. So many characters are in jeopardy after that explosive ending. What happened to Fitz, Coulson, and Robbie on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. ? Eli Morrow's experiment had some mysterious results, and they are currently MIA.

The three were in a Roxxon power facility, trying to stop the ghost of Lucy Bauer from kidnapping Robbie's Uncle Eli and conducting an experiment that would un-ghost her, presumably. While they were able to stop Lucy, Eli ran the experiment anyway and came out of it with cool carbon-creating powers. Neat as it is, the explosion blew through the entire facility. The two agents and their Ghost Rider friend disappeared in the blast.

We'll definitely see Coulson, Fitz, and Robbie again. This show wouldn't drop three such important characters so suddenly. But where did they go? Are they in another realm? Did they go to the Upside Down? Are they ghosts now, trapped in those ghost boxes? "Back in the day," Eli locked his coworkers into the boxes before turning on the machine. This time, everyone was loose in the facility. They're probably not dead... I think. Death has another meaning on this show now, which after Coulson (and now May) is saying something. Here's to hoping that this experiment has some fun teleportation side effects, and the three of them were transported to Albania by mistake.

We also don't know where Simmons was taken on her "too secret for primetime" mission, either. Only May and Mack seem safe, for now. The team has never been separated like this on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and it looks like it's going to take something special to get them back together.
