Noah may be making a big splash at the box office — coming in at number one over films like Divergent and Muppets Most Wanted — but it’s been making waves on the red carpet, too. And after all of the amazing looks that have graced the Noah premiere red carpets over the last several weeks — from stunning suits and glam gowns to magnificent minis and basic, black dresses — we shouldn’t be in the least bit surprised at this point that the film’s stars, Emma Watson and Jennifer Connelly, stunned once again at the London premiere of the new biblical blockbuster. What we were shocked at, however, was that Connelly — a well-dressed lady, no doubt, but not quite near the fashion 'It' Girl level of Watson — may have blown the young Harry Potter star out of the water with her unbelievably gorgeous and high-fashion gown.
Going out with a bang, Connelly showed up to the film’s final premiere donning a high-neck, sleeveless gown, complete with a green and pink floral bodice and a flowing, black organza skirt — a look that combine to create the perfect mix of mystery, glamour, edge, and sophistication for the actress's final red (or rather water-printed) carpet of the Noah premiere tour.
Pairing the practically perfect Alexander McQueen look with her signature porcelain skin, bold brows, and swept-back black locks, Connelly completed the look with a subtly smoky eye, soft-pink lips and cheeks, and a stunning diamond cuff on her left ear.
And it’s not that Connelly had little to compete with for the best dressed title. After all, Watson showed up to the premiere looking as gorgeous as — or perhaps even more so than — ever, looking like a vision in an all-white, silk Ralph Lauren halter gown. Pairing the ensemble with a matching white pump, a small silver clutch, a simple updo, and peach-pink lips, the look was much lighter and simpler than the other (albeit fabulous) looks she’s donned for the Noah press tour.
In the end, if this truly were a battle of the red-carpet fashion stars, we all know who would be the winner: Watson's and Connelly's adoring audience, who gets to sit back and admire these unbelievable outfits from afar.
