'AHS: Freak Show' Proves Florida Is Really Scary

by Kaitlin Reilly

The fourth installment of American Horror Story is still in the works, and we couldn't be more excited to see what Ryan Murphy has cooked up for us. In anticipation for the latest series in the horror anthology — titled American Horror Story: Freak Show — we've been collecting as many spoilers and theories as we can. We already know that Sarah Paulson will have a physically challenging role (perhaps as an acrobat?!) and that Jessica Lange is prepping her German accent for her part, but the new characters aren't the only part of the show that we're just dying to learn more about. Though we know that the series will focus on a "freak show," we're just now uncovering exactly where that freak show will take place. New reports are saying that American Horror Story will take fans down south once again. The show's most recent installment, Coven, already set its horror in New Orleans, Louisiana, and Freak Show is heading to another state just south of that. According to reports, American Horror Story: Freak Show will be set in Jupiter, Florida.

So what's scary about Florida? A lot of things, actually. Here's just a short list of the scariest things that Florida has to offer American Horror Story fans.
