We Just Found Her the Perfect Guy

Major potential couple alert! Chris Evans is reportedly pursuing a relationship with Sandra Bullock and it's actually the best idea ever. Organically, I probably would never have thought to pair the two, but when you think about it, it actually makes a ton of sense. Apparently Evans has had a crush on Bullock since he was in 7th grade and now he wants to make his 12-year-old self's dreams come true.

But this isn't one of those one-sided romances, like John Mayer lusting after Lea Michele. It turns out Evans and Bullock have hung out before and really hit it off. In March, a source said the two went with a group of friends to a Hollywood restaurant and "spent the night talking until 12 a.m.," which is a big deal for the single mother who probably tries to avoid staying out late, if possible. A friend of Bullock's has also said, "[Chris is] totally her type!"

But if anonymous sources aren't your proof of choice, take these 8 examples as further evidence that Captain America and Miss Congeniality need to get together ASAP.

HE WOULDN'T JUDGE HER FOR TRYING OUT ANOTHER COMEDY

Before she got critical acclaim for her dramas like The Blind Side and Gravity, Bullock was our comedy queen charming us in films like Miss Congeniality and The Proposal. If and when she wants to try making another film in the "less prestigious" romantic comedy sector, Chris Evans would never judge her like some actors might. After all, he and his abs have been known to star in a few of those himself.

THEY BOTH LIKE LETTING LOOSE IN THE WOODS

Evans says the outdoors bring out a side of himself that few could handle. "I swear to God, if you saw me when I am by myself in the woods, I'm a lunatic. I sing, I dance. I do crazy shit." Sound familiar, Bullock?

When Chris Evans' infamous "retiring from acting" story broke, he rushed to correct it saying if he wasn't acting that didn't mean he was leaving the business. "I'm going to be directing," he promised his fans. Bullock has also enjoyed her time behind the lens saying, "I don't know if I always want to be in front of the camera. I love producing, I love the camaraderie. I love the adventures. I love the stress."

Now take a moment to imagine a Bullock-produced, Evans-directed film and tell me that wouldn't be golden.

HE WON'T MIND IF SHE DOESN'T ALWAYS LOOK PUT TOGETHER

In fact, he even likes it when a girl gets a little grungy. "I like wet hair and sweatpants. I like sneakers and ponytails," Evans once said. Good thing too, because Bullock says she has no desire to maintain a celebrity lifestyle. "If I am out in public I dress like a pig," she says.

In a relationship, it's important that you don't let your work get too much in the way. After all, that's what made Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart call it quits. Fortunately, both Evans and Bullock understand the importance of taking happiness from other areas besides their jobs.

Says Evans, “I love acting. It’s my playground, it lets me explore. But my happiness in this world, my level of peace, is never going to be dictated by acting.” Bullock has a similar sentiment of her own saying, "It's just too much if you make your career everything. It is everything when you're doing it. But you have to find things you love just as much."

THEY REALLY LOVE DOGS

Bullock owns three special needs dogs and is always there to help her four-legged friends out. "Any dog that is missing something is welcome in our house. If we can't handle them, we find them a home," the animal lover has said. But while outsiders may think Bullock overdoes it with her furry pals, Chris Evans would be right next to her doing the same thing.

HE'S READY FOR A FAMILY

Bullock's son Louis is obviously part of a packaged deal. Fortunately, Evans doesn't shy at the idea of kids, and actually really wants them. "I want children — to me that's the ultimate thing," he recently shared. We're sure Louis would be pretty stoked to have Captain America as a dad. Plus, if Bullock and Evans ever had more kids, they'd be freaking adorable.

THEY JUST MAKE A GOOD MATCH

Not only does Bullock's friend think Evans is right for her, but the way he's described his dream girl allows Bullock to fit the bill. He's said, "I like girls who are self-deprecating. I like girls who make fun of themselves. If you can't poke fun at yourself, what are you? I just want someone with a good soul. That's about it. The rest I'm really flexible on."

Bullock obviously has a good soul (remember her inspirational graduation speech?), but she has that sense of self-deprecating humor that Evans loves. Why else would she have Googled herself if she wasn't able to laugh at what came up? Since humor is basically Evans only requirement it would seem she's perfect for him, and with his lovable attitude he'd be the perfect man to be by her side on her next dating adventure.
