5 Reasons 'NCIS' Will Still Be Amazing Without Cote De Pablo
It goes without saying that NCIS fans have been through a lot with their show through the years. We watched Kate die in the first few seasons, we watched Michael Weatherly, and by extension his character, DiNozzo, round the corner into middle age, we've lost countless agents, watched the probie become an award-winning novelist, and so much more. However, losing Ziva David, the ass-kicking ex-Mossad agent played by Cote De Pablo might just be the biggest loss we've faced so far. And even though CBS boss Les Moonves told reporters Tuesday that the network "offered Cote de Pablo a lot of money" to stay and still failed in their efforts, here are five reminders why NCIS will still remain the best corny cop drama on television.
Gibbs and the Team Now Have To Save All of NCIS
And we know they're gonna do it! But how? Also, did Gibbs actually kill Fornell? Are we really going to have to say good-bye to Tony and McGee? WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO WITHOUT DINOZZO?!?! Season 11 might take an unexpected turn, but it's still going to be intense and awesome and satisfying. I'll happily holla for an entire season of Gibbs style vengeance and sleuthing.
If the Team Does Get Back Together, We're Totally Getting A New Agent
Woooooo new agent. Remember how traumatizing it was when Ari, Ziva's crazy double agent half-brother, shot Kate between the eyes, ostensibly for no reason? And we were so sad but then we got Ziva and NCIS was even more awesome than before? Yeah. Fingers crossed that happens again.
Is There A Possibility The Team Will Be Absorbed Into Another Agency?
Something (like the title of the show being NCIS, for example) makes me think that Gibbs will somehow pull it together like he always does and rescue the agency. However, how awesome would it be to get a whole set-up? Even if that means we'd have to adjust to a new office, I'd still be down for that.

We're Definitely Going to Get More Cameos
Hell, Lily Tomlin popped in for an episode as McGee's awesome grandma, and although the fans hated her, I love Jamie Lee Curtis no matter what she does so I was super into that as well. Since the finale had a viewing audience of nearly 19 million, a little star power in Season 11 seems like an obvious choice, plus it'll just be loads and loads of fun.
And We Definitely Still Have Abby and Ducky
I mean, they're what we really watch the show for, right? Abby is definitely the only goth and the only forensic expert I ever wanted to be. And Ducky is darn cute. Who needs agents and drama when you have labs and more labs, right? RIGHT.
