Check Out These 'Gotham' Posters

by Mallory Schlossberg

If you were already excited about this fall's Gotham, the crime series that also serves as an origin story for Batman, be prepared to get even more excited. You can now see some new character posters for Gotham, so you pretty much get a chance to get up close and personal with the characters. Pretty cool, right?

In case you need to get up-to-speed on the series, it chronicles a young Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie — of The O.C.! ), who is the Gary Oldman character in The Dark Knight, FYI. We get a peek at Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) as he slowly takes small baby steps to becoming Batman. We'll also get to see young versions of Selina Kyle — or Catwoman (Camren Bicnodov), Edward Nygma — or The Riddler (Cory Michael Smith) and Oswald Cobblepot —or the Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor), as well as Ivy Pepper, who is better known as Poison Ivy (Clare Foley). We'll also get to see Detective Harvey Bullock (Donal Logue) and Fish Mooney (Jada Pinkett Smith).

The series will definitely be a treat for Batman fans, but based on the trailer and the little featurette that was released last month, it seems like it will also be a pretty awesome standalone series.

You can get a glimpse of the posters below!
