Madeleine Albright Tweets Adorable World Cup Pic

by Alicia Lu

In case you weren't quite convinced that literally everyone in the entire world has FIFA fever, let this be the definitive proof. Former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright has gotten into the World Cup spirit by tweeting a photo of herself giving the thumbs-up with her kitten-heeled foot on a soccer, along with the caption: "Keep your eye on the ball." Not only does this prove that the World Cup is more ubiquitous than air, but it also proves that Ms. Albright is one cool, sporty, and chic lady. Let's break it down.

In the pic, Albright, known for her jewelry-box diplomacy, is looking as stylish as ever in a lightweight summer dress with three-quarter-length sleeves in a lovely shade of pewter. She accents her neutral-toned dress with bold red flower earrings, a red flower brooch, red sling-back kitten heels, and red-framed glasses clutched in one hand. Albright's hair is perfectly coiffed and her makeup is flawless. From the feet below, however, is an entirely different story.

Albright expertly perches her red pump atop a red soccer ball, which matches her accessories impeccably. One can only assume that the ball belongs to her and she occasionally juggles it for fun. This sporty side is one we've never seen on her, but it's certainly a good look.

Albright also tweets like a pro, using the appropriate hashtags, like #USMNT, #WorldCup, and #1N1T. And she even tweets at U.S. Soccer's official Twitter. All in all, the perfect tweet.

Except, maybe, this one.
