Lottie Moss Pulls a "Kate" for CK Jeans

by Erin Mayer

Having a famous supermodel for a sister might be nice, but it also means you have to prove yourself big time if you intend on entering the industry. Lottie Moss, sister of Kate, is off to a good start. The 16-year-old English rose channeled Kate Moss's iconic Calvin Klein shoots from the '90s in a project for CK Jeans, proving she has what it takes to model even without her famous name.

The younger Moss made her Vogue debut at age 13 when photos from Kate's wedding to rocker Jamie Hince were published by the magazine, causing the world (or, okay, the Daily Mail) to speculate whether she would become fashion's next It girl. This past January, Lottie Moss was signed by Storm Model Management, the same agency that represents her sister, as well as modeling heavyweights Cara Delevingne, Lily Cole, Jourdan Dunn, Lily Donaldson, and Cindy Crawford.

Her shoot for CK Jeans is her first big project since signing with Storm and let me tell you — girl has skills! She is really working that early '90s vibe her sister helped popularize, which only makes sense since it's in her blood. The series of portraits, shot by Michael Avedon (yes, that's Richard's grandson) is part of The Re-Issue Project, a collaboration with mytheresa.com. The 16-piece collection, due to launch on July 16th, is a re-working of some of CK Jeans' most iconic looks from the label's heyday.

From the looks of the photos, Lottie has a real shot at a modeling career. Let's just hope she skips the drug scandal chapter of her sister's autobiography.
