Band of Outsiders Announces Sweet Partnership

What's better than a day spent browsing at your favorite store? A day spent browsing at your favorite store... while eating dessert! Now, there's one clothing brand making that dream a reality. A new Momofuku Milk Bar location will open inside the Band of Outsiders flagship store. Color me so excited to nom on a Compost Cookie while trying on impeccable menswear-inspired wares.

The Momofuku Milk Bar will be placed in one of the street-facing windows at the 72 Wooster Street location of Band of Outsiders. This will be the first Milk Bar location in SoHo and it plans to serve "cookie favorites among core classics," according to InStyle. So this sounds like a paired down menu that will likely include only the Momofuku must-haves. Whatever, I'll take what I can get.

Scott Sternberg, creative director of Band of Outsiders, summed the collaboration up perfectly in a statement, quoted by InStyle: "We want our store to be about more than just an awesome shop where you can buy great clothes. We want it to be an awesome shop where you can buy great cookies too.” Sounds like perfection.

True fans of Band of Outsiders are probably familiar with Sternberg's The Cookie Blog, which he operated until June 2012. He has also worked with Milk Bar's Christina Tosi to create custom cookies as favors for the guests at Band of Outsiders runway shows. Move over Intelligentsia for Urban Outfitters — this is the most delightful food/fashion partnership of all time.
