Beyoncé: Is She or Isn't She Down to Earth? We Discuss

After an Instagram collage showed that Beyoncé biked to her concert in Brooklyn on Tuesday, the world reacted, with half the people voicing their support for the singer's low-key method of transportation and the other half calling it just another publicity stunt. Is Queen B down to earth? It's hard to know, so we took to her Instagram to find out.

DOWN TO EARTH: She bikes to her concerts! On the Brooklyn Bridge!

First Dave Matthews got a ride from a fan to his concert, and now Beyoncé hopped on a bike to get to hers. What is it about this summer that makes singers take unconventional modes of transportation to their concerts? Suffice to say that if you were taking a leisurely stroll down the Brooklyn Bridge and saw the most famous singer in the world passing you in the bike lane, you'd be a little shocked — but very impressed. NOT DOWN TO EARTH: She has a lot of 2 dollar bills. Like, a lot

Seriously, who has this many 2 dollar bills? Do regular people collect 2 dollar bills? Is this a thing? Discuss. Image: Instagram

DOWN TO EARTH: She wears Timberland boots

Well, at least her husband and daughter do — hers are ZIGIgirl, because for some weird reason, Timberland doesn't actually make six-inch heeled hiking boots. But it's nice to see that Jay Z and Blue Ivy wear shoes from a company we can afford. Image: Instagram

NOT DOWN TO EARTH: She reads about herself in the morning paper

To be fair, she's on the cover of the Daily News for a good reason: She and Jay Z attended a rally protesting the Trayvon Martin trial verdict. Still, the fact that her morning ritual consists of reading front-page stories about herself as she eats her breakfast is decidedly NOT down to earth. Image: Instagram

DOWN TO EARTH: She's addicted to technology

Somehow in-between performing shows, raising a kid, and running the world, Beyoncé manages to stay updated on the latest viral videos and Reddit finds (or so we imagine). Three laptops is a bit excessive, but we don't blame her for wanting to be connected to the Internet at all times Image: Instagram

NOT DOWN TO EARTH: She writes personal notes to Obama

And he probably reads them. Image: Instagram

DOWN TO EARTH: She takes cabs

Okay, so maybe it's not totally normal that she's chillin' in the front seat and there's no cab driver screaming at her to get out, but still, it's close enough, right? Image: Instagram

NOT DOWN TO EARTH: She gets custom Louboutins

Guess those Timberlands were a fluke. Why is it that extremely rich people always seem to get free stuff? Shouldn't designers be lavishing goodies on us, instead? Life isn't fair. Image: Instagram

DOWN TO EARTH: She loves Throwback Thursday

Like all committed Instagram users, Beyoncé uses her page for #TBT. Of course, all of her childhood photos are adorable, and she apparently had no awkward phase. Figures. Image: Instagram

NOT DOWN TO EARTH: This happens on a regular basis

Yeah, traveling the world to perform for tens of thousands of people every night isn't so normal. Image: Instagram

DECISION: It doesn't even matter

She's called Queen B for a reason, guys. It wouldn't matter if she owned ten yachts and showered in gold — we'd still be obsessed with her.
