The Cast of 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' Does 'The Guardians of the Galaxy' Red Carpet Adorably
Oh Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, you sly minx you. Just when the going got really, really good, you got... well, going. Summer hiatus is never great, but it's especially unbearable when a show goes from "NCIS on a plane" to Buffy the Vampire Slayer + Espionage on a plane — which is a feat AoS accomplished in its last 8 or so episodes.
Well, at least ABC/Disney has the courtesy to remind us that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D is part of the Marvel family, and is here to stay... by sending its cast out onto Monday night's Guardians of the Galaxy red carpet. So there's some balm to ease the sting of this long, S.H.I.E.L.D-less drought of a summer — the Whedon-squared/Tancharoen helmed show hasn't started filming for its second season yet, and according to Chloe Bennet's Instagram account, they're relishing their time together, as her caption read "Reunited and it feels reallyyy freakin good."
So how did they fare, fashion wise? Everyone looked good — perhaps most notably, there was Bennet in her cut-out dress. Then there was BJ Britt in a lovely jade green suit (does this mean Agent Triplett is here to stay? Let's hope so), Elizabeth Henstridge in a blood orange number with matching shoes, Iain de Caestecker in laid-back black, and Brett Dalton in a standard-yet-dashing suit. Things may look good on paper, but in real life?
In the words of Henstridge, "Yeah, we got this red carpet thing down." Then, you've got this gem:
Step away from the Rocket mask, Chloe. Step away from the Rocket mask.
But Chloe's not even the worst offender, because there's still this:
Epic, right? But while the AoS babies were busy goofing off, Ming Na Wen was serving up off-duty model:
You show them how it's done, Ming Na.
