'KUWTK' Deleted Scene Reveals What Bruce Would've Done If He Was Around For The Groping Incident — VIDEO
Sunday night, the Brody brawl episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians aired. It'd been teased all season and I was READY for it. When Brody Jenner finally popped those sunglasses off of that blurry face, I stared at my TV set and said, "My goodness, was it ever worth the wait." The episode truly could not have been better... OR SO I THOUGHT. Tuesday afternoon, my worldview was shattered into one million lightning bolt-shaped shards of energy when E! shared a deleted KUWTK scene. A scene that, had it been included, could've been the second best scene from Sunday night's ep, no question (it would take something supernatural to usurp the sunglasses smack moment's throne).
In the clip, Brody tells Bruce and Kris Jenner about the handsy hotel guest incident. Brody asks his dad what he would’ve done in that situation. And Bruce's answer has me looking into jet ski rentals so I can go do donuts on a body of water until I pass out.
“Oh, I would’ve made my presence known,” Bruce says. “I don’t know what I would’ve done. I wouldn’t have hit the guy or anything, but he would certainly’ve known I was here.”
HE WOULD'VE MADE HIS PRESENCE KNOWN. HE DOESN'T GET SPECIFIC, BUT HE DOESN'T HAVE TO. IT IS THE BEST "DAD" ANSWER EVER. WHY DIDN’T THIS SCENE MAKE THE CUT. I AM ACTUALLY MAD.
Okay, okay. I may be upset the scene was left on the cutting room floor, but I am grateful it was eventually retrieved and shared. Shout-out to E! for posting this video:
When Leah Jenner says that Brody's lucky the dude wasn't a Thai boxer, I sort of wish Brody would laugh and say, "Oh, but that's what that ox of a bodyguard is for. Did you really think I fended off the blurry perv by myself? Nah, man. Totes had backup."
Ah well. The clip remains golden.
