Another 'Real Housewife' In Legal Hot Water

by Lindsay Mannering

Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giuidce is in scalding hot water after getting slammed with 39 counts of fraud (she and husband Joe Giudice pleaded not guilty on Wednesday), and now, another Real Housewife is in legal trouble. This time, it's Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Vanderpump and her husband, Ken Todd. They've been named as defendants in a lawsuit filed by two bar entrepreneurs who claim that Lisa and Ken swooped in and took the location that the plaintiffs had already laid claim to.

The suit alleges that Lisa and Ken intentionally interfered with a contract and are in violation of competition law. The plaintiffs had planned to open a gay sports bar in the available restaurant space in West Hollywood, and were shocked to see that Lisa and Ken had leased the same space in order to open a new hotspot called P.U.M.P. Lounge.

It sounds like it's more of an issue between the plaintiffs and the property owners, but still, Lisa and Ken have been called-out. The reality TV couple released a statement denying any wrong doing, but the plaintiffs feel otherwise, and have demanded a trial by jury.

This all may be bad news for the Vanderpump-Todd-Giggy household, but it might be great news for Bravo. Lisa already has a Hills-esque spinoff about her restaurant life called Vanderpump Rules, and the more drama that surrounds her eatery endeavors, the better. Plus, it's been rumored that Bravo will film RHONJ star Teresa Giuidice and the antics surrounding her massive legal battles, so perhaps we'll get an inside glimpse into Lisa's courtroom confrontations, as well.

Granted, a lease dispute isn't quite as intriguing as federal fraud charges, but really, all we want out of Lisa's trial is a few shots of Giggy in his most-capable looking court outfit.

Think he can hold a gavel in his mouth?
