We Hope We Look This Good Hovering

The litany of of American Horror Story: Asylum trailers are meant to terrify TV fans. Just see this one, which appears to highlight extremely standard Museum of Modern Art exhibit.

But the latest teaser for the third season of the American Horror Story franchise — which will star Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Gabourey Sidibe, Kathy Bates, and more — really only has me coveting the coven. With "The House of the Rising Sun" being used as a haunting backdrop, the 18-second teaser features a woman seemingly floating (or falling?) in mid-air above a staircase. And though the use of the New Orleans jam undoubtedly wants us to recall the meaning of the song — which, in some interpretations, is about a daughter who murdered her father — I'm only left meaning to find wherever the actress bought her fabulous dress. A frock that won't reveal an embarrassing crotch shot when you hover upside-down? (I hate when that happens.) Sign me up!

Little is known about American Horror Story: Coven, besides its New Orleans location, its Oct. 9 premiere date, and its ability to make you actually yearn for the fall to begin. Watch the American Horror Story: Coven trailer embedded below! I'll just be over here shopping.
