What Has Dustin Diamond Been Doing? Screech Can't Let 'Saved by the Bell' Go
"That guy who made that sex tape one time" aka "Screech from Saved by the Bell" aka Dustin Diamond is back in all of our lives once again, and I couldn't be happier. Every now and then the actor pops back into the public eye, and it always makes for great conversation starters in the office or with your hairdresser. This time, it's for Lifetime's The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story (Sept. 1), which is loosely based on Behind the Bell, Diamond's 2009 book about what "really" happened behind the scenes of the hit show (of course, Diamond has since said that the book was embellished).
So besides executive producing the Lifetime biopic — maybe the film isn't so Unauthorized after all — what has the Bayside High actor been up to in the past couple of years?
He played Bernardo in 'Hamlet A.D.D.'
The film, which premiered at the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art in April, follows a version of a time-traveling Hamlet with A.D.D. as he attempts to kill his uncle Claudius.
He played a version of Saul Goodman in a 'Breaking Bad' & 'Saved by the Bell' Parody
Yup — that’s a thing that happened. Diamond starred as a take on everyone’s favorite lawyer in Breaking Belding , a look into the drug-inspired world of Mr. Belding — you know, the principal on SBTB — and Zack Morris as they cook caffeine pills.

He's performing in an off-Broadway 'Saved by the Bell' parody
That’s right — Diamond is currently starring as himself in “Bayside! The Musical!” at Theatre 80 in New York City. Weird dreams really do come true.
He's a stand-up comedian
He recently performed at Crystal Bay Casino in Lake Tahoe. (Man, he probably gets a lot of hecklers.)
He was on the UK's 'Celebrity Big Brother'
Unfortunately, he was kicked out of the house pretty early on. The good news? He exited to the sound of the Saved by the Bell theme song.
