These Photos of Ryan Gosling Look Nothing Like Ryan Gosling

I'm not sure when Ryan Gosling became The Ryan Gosling, but I imagine it had to do with the actor's gorgeous baby blues, "seriously-it's-like-you're-Photoshopped" body, and, most importantly, his ability to wax poetic about feminist issues and the amazing loves of his life, which include Sandra Bullock and Rachel McAdams.

But while that gorgeous brain of his has stayed the same throughout his career, his look has changed quite a bit — so much so that you may not even recognize Gosling in some of these photos. Check out the photos of Gosling that barely look anything like the Gosling we know and love.

Gosling looks a little plump in 2007 because he was putting on weight for his role in Peter Jackson’s The Lovely Bones — a role that never panned out.
