17 Short Male Celebs Who Prove Size Doesn't Matter

It has got to be tough being a short male. Women can wear heels and plan outfits to elongate their legs, but there is not much for a guy to do. Usually the best way to over come being vertically challenged is to have an outrageous personality. This is probably why a lot of comedians are shorties. I feel like funny people can get away with whatever they want. But being short has not stopped these 17 celebrities from making it big in Hollywood. Some names are obvious but others just may surprise you. "He's really that short?" Yeah, but not when he's standing on his wallet.

Bruno Mars is very lucky that he can sing and write songs to win over the ladies. The singer is only 5’5”, something that was very apparent when he stood next to 5’10” Taylor Swift at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards.

Tom Cruise

Tom Cruise, 5’7”, is famous for getting with tall women. He was married to Nicole Kidman, 5’11”, and Katie Holmes, 5’9”. It’s been reported that Cruise wears lifts in his shoes to get some extra height.

Seth Green

Seth Green is only 5’4”, so his wife Clare Grant, who is 5’7” towers over him in a pair of heels.

Pete Wentz

Pete Wentz makes up for his 5’6” stature with a lot of charisma. I’m too focused on Pete Wentz’s antics to notice his height… except for when he stands next to his girlfriend Meagan Camper, who is a 5’10” model.

Kevin Hart

Kevin Hart may be short in height at 5’4”, but no one could ever accuse him of being short on confidence. He has even incorporated his small stature into his stand up routine.

Aziz Ansari

Aziz Ansari is vertically challenged with a height of 5’6”, but that doesn’t stop him from being a successful comedian.

For someone so short, Prince, who’s only 5’2”, does not seem to have any problem getting with the ladies.

Danny Devito

Danny Devito made up for being only five feet tall by becoming a major star and showcasing his larger than life comedy chops.

Jon Stewart

Maybe Jon Stewart’s height of 5’7” is why he made a career out of sitting behind a news desk? This is obviously just speculation, but it’s possible.

Jack Black

Jack Black compensates for being 5’6” with his hilarious sense of humor.

Martin Scorsese

Martin Scorcese is one of the biggest directors in Hollywood history so his height of 5’4” does not even matter. But maybe this is why he spends his time behind the camera instead of in front of it?

Scott Caan

The Hawaii Five-0 star is only 5’5”, but he can still pull off playing the role of a tough guy detective.

Josh Hutcherson

Josh Hutcherson, who stands at 5’7”, is one of the biggest stars around right now because of his role in The Hunger Games movies.

Daniel Radcliffe

I bet Daniel Radcliffe wishes he was actually a wizard so he could cast a spell to be taller than 5’5”.

Elijah Wood

Elijah Wood is famous for playing a hobbit, so it’s no surprise to learn that he is just 5’6”.

Rob Schneider

Adam Sandler’s perpetual sidekick is only 5’7”.

Michael J. Fox

Michael J. Fox is 5’4 1/2” and he doesn’t want you to forget that half-inch! He reportedly told the Virginian Pilot, “I’m 5 feet 4 1/2 inches tall. Don’t forget the one-half inch.”
