Victoria Beckham Does Her Part for World AIDS Day

by Rosie Narasaki

Victoria Beckham has been busy! After stunning in one of her own sleekly minimalistic designs at Sunday night's Evening Standard Awards, and making headlines for taking her son, Brooklyn Beckham, to the infamous tween hot-spot Claire's to get his ears pierced (I swear, that place has to be ear-piercing mecca. Who didn't get their ears pierced at Claire's?), she's turned her efforts in a philanthropic direction: Victoria Beckham designed T-shirts for World AIDS Day, to be specific.

She designed a lovely (and again, sleekly minimalistic) T-shirt in order to raise money for AIDS research: 100% of the proceeds support UNAIDS (which is — you guessed it — the UN's program on AIDS/HIV). How cool is that? And to make things even cooler, the shirt itself is just as cute as you'd expect — it's a wear-with-everything, effortless-yet-perfectly-fitted white T, emblazoned with a stylish (and meaningful) red ribbon on the chest. Beckham herself modeled it in some of the advertisements, and it is available at her brand-new, modern art museum-level fabulous flagship store on Dover Street in London.

To prepare for World AIDS Day, her brand also made countless little red ribbons to give away to customers — so if you happen to be in the right place at the right time (and have a little cash to spare), why not drop on by? Beckham will be waiting for you, surrounded by chicly on-theme red handbags:

Can you say "#WAD2014?" Kudos to Victoria Beckham to spreading awareness!
