The Latest ‘Frozen’ Collab Is Unexpected

The latest designer collaboration might have you puzzling until your puzzler is sore. Frozen and Commes des Garcons have collaborated for the holiday season, and now that the movie has crossed over into high fashion, the limits of it's expansion have pretty much been shattered. Seriously. Is it ever going to end?

WWD reported that the London branch of Dover Street Market's holiday windows will showcase a Commes des Garcons (CDG) and Frozen collaboration, a pairing that happened when Disney Japan approached CDG about it and they jumped at the chance to collaborate. But it doesn't stop there. There will also be CDG merchandise featuring Frozen's main characters, including shirts, pajamas, scarves, and even home decor such as pillows. Though only London will see the holiday window display, the merchandise will be available at New York City's branch of Dover Street Market.

This movie's reign is clearly going strong. From a Frozen make-up line, to an Elsa-inspired wedding gown, and now nabbing a high fashion design collaboration, the animated Disney film is unstoppable, so I think we have a while before the ice melts and gives way to any sort of spring. For now, Frozen is the way it's going to be.
