The GQ Men Of the Year Awards Brought Out Star Studded Fashion — But Did the Ladies Win the Night?
Just because the night was all about celebrating the guys, doesn't mean the ladies couldn't shine, too. The GQ Men of the Year Awards was held Thursday night, and Hollywood's men turned up looking dapper, debonair, and downright drool-worthy — but there were definitely some leading ladies who stole the spotlight from them.
The 2014 award show, which was held at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, turned out to be a star-studded event, drawing everyone from TV stars (the Pretty Little Liars girls), to musicians (Sam Smith, Nick Jonas), to Oscar nominated actors (Hailee Steinfeld). And of course, GQ's Man of the Year himself, Chris Pratt, was in attendance (looking adorably handsome, might I add). And then there was the hottest couple in the room, Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello, who are basically too beautiful to even describe, so yeah. But aside from the obvious roundup of hot dudes, there was the fashion, and that cannot be ignored. So who stole the night when it came to dressing up for the red carpet? Well, here is a run-down of the most stylish looks from the GQ awards — and I think the ladies might have won the night at this event. Sorry, boys! Maybe next year?
1. Chris Pratt
The always adorable actor did not disappoint in his gray suit
2. Hailee Steinfeld
The Oscar-nominee looked sleek and sophisticated in her LBD.
3. and 4. Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort
The co-stars both rocked their suits — bonus points to Shailene for dressing like one of the guys on their special night.
5. Malin Akerman
Her tangerine dress sure made a bold statement.
6. James Marsden
Such a stud. That aubergine shirt, though!
7. and 8. Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello
They could legit wear a paper bag and still look incredible.
9. Shay Mitchell
Now this is how you steal a spotlight.
