Anna Kendrick Has a Razor Obsession (Of Course), Plus How to Find Your Perfect Blade

When it comes to razors, a sub-par product just isn't gonna make the cut... literally. In a recent interview with The New York Times, Anna Kendrick revealed her obsession with her Schick Intuition razor — the good, old drugstore standby that combines a silky shave gel and sharp razor. "It cuts your shower time in half. Whenever I hear someone is still using a separate shave gel, it's like hearing they still use dial-up Internet."

Looks like Kendrick found her go-to razor, it's about time that you found yours. But have you seen that drugstore razor aisle lately? It's a hot mess of dozens of expensive packages promising to leave you hair and pain-free. If far too many of them have left you bloody and stubbly, click on through — I've collected some of the best drugstore razors to make all of your nooks and crannies silky smooth.

The Best Razor/Shave Gel Combo

Sorry Anna, but I have to go with the Gillette Venus Spa Breeze on this one. It still has the same shave gel bars as the Schick Intuition, but is far less bulky.

The Best Razor with a Built-In Trimmer

Schick Quattro TrimStyle, $15, Walgreens

The Schick Quattro TrimStyle has four blades, but also features a motorized trimmer to quickly whisk away at your bikini line.

The Best Razor for Exfoliating

Gillette Venus & Olay Razor, $15, Walgreens

Another awesome razor/shave gel combo option is the Gillette Venus & Olay Razor in “Sugarberry.” This one features a built-in exfoliating soap to help smooth your freshly shaven skin.

The Best Men's Razor (for the ladies!)

Gillette Mach3 Turbo Men's Razor, $9, Target

Call me crazy, but this girl has a soft spot for men’s razors. Dudes use them on their face after all, so ya know they gotta be safe yet sharp. Gillette’s Mach 3 Turbo tops the list in my book for a super close shave.

The Best Razor for your Bikini Line

The Noxzema Bikini Shaver is a nifty little razor that has almost comb-like teeth that easily maneuver around your curves.

The Best Disposable Razor

Gillette’s Venus Embrace Disposables, $10, Walmart

My usual relationship with disposable razors used to consist of buying a pack in an effort to save money, stepping out of the shower raw and bloody, and vowing never to buy them again — a promise I broke with myself almost immediately.

That was before I stumbled upon Gillette’s Venus Embrace Disposables. They have five blades, plus a moisture strip and thick handle for silky, happy legs!

The Best Refillable Razor

Schick Hydro Silk, $9, Target

The Schick Hydro Silk takes the silky, smooth cake as the all-around best refillable razor. It features a moisture-activated serum so it can sleekly travel up legs, around knees and ankles, and anywhere you want to banish hair, as well as five blades for an extra-close shave.
