25 Ways to Work Pantone's Color of the Year Marsala Into Your Home Decor in 2015
Right around the same time as we cracked open our 2015 planners and calendars to prepare for a new year, color authority Pantone announced its color of the year — the hue that will dominate the world of fashion, beauty, and home decor for the next 365 days. Last year's color, Radiant Orchid, continued a trend of bright, bold shades — preceded by gorgeous Emerald and festive Tangerine Tango — but that trend seems to have ended with 2014. Pantone's 2015 Color of the Year, Marsala, is a lovely red-brown shade that is just perfect for giving your current home decor a little face lift.
Marsala is a soft, subtle color that can vary from a worn adobe to a red wine shade. It's easier to coordinate and decorate around than a brighter shade of red, and luckily, Pantone has provided a handy guide showing us which colors pair well with Marsala. Who knows, your current decor could work with it already!
