You've NEVER Seen Ed Sheeran Like This, Trust Me

If you're reading this, odds are that you're a decent enough person because, statistically speaking, most of us are. Which is why I would like to apologize in advance on behalf of the entire internet that your journey has landed you here today, because the thing you are about to see is something you can never unsee. And by "thing", I mean the chin with a goatee that lip syncs Ed Sheeran's "Thinking Out Loud". It looks like a troll doll from the '90s came to life and then tried to eat off the skin of your face. In other words, it's horrifying and if you love yourself, you won't watch it at all.

Let's come back to the light here for a moment and reflect on just how ridonkulously romantic the original music video for this song is, because it fills my heart with gladness and might be the only thing left to restore the shreds of my humanity that the goatee just took away. Originally written for Ed Sheeran's girlfriend, the song has been getting crazy radio airplay lately, which, up until a second ago, was a good thing. Now whenever we hear it we're going to think of this terrifying goatee'd version of him singing upside down.

I feel like I've done all that I can to appropriately caution you about the scarring nature of this video, but just in case I haven't, you should know that as the video goes on it only gets worse. Also, for some reason yet to be explained by science (but partially explained by the eyeballs and nose he has sharpie'd onto his chin), it gets harder and harder to look away. GOOD LUCK falling asleep tonight after watching this, and in the words of the almighty Taylor Swift, "Don't say I didn't, say I didn't warn ya."
