Guess whose boarded the bangs train? Yep, model Behati Prinsloo got bangs and the result is totally bangin'. Prinsloo's bangs have a bit of a twist, too! She opted for some extra looooooong fringe. The Victoria's Secret runway walker and wife of rocker/The Voice coach Adam Levine showed off her new 'do, featuring past-the-brow, face-framing fringe, paired with long, textured waves, via Instagram. Her hair is too long to be called "shaggy," but the loose, messy texture is the just-rolled-outta-bed kind of sexy that often requires quite a bit of product, like salt sprays, to achieve.
Prinsloo is certainly channeling the '60s bangs brigade — think Marianne Faithfull and Jean Shrimpton — with her piecey fringe. It's so effortless and mysterious, since the length hits the eyelashes and obscures the eyes a tiny bit. I have bangs and I tend to go above the brow, like Bettie Page, since it's youthful and while I dig the longer fringe, the hair in my eyes starts driving me nuts. But I love the look before it starts making me think about self-administering a trim.
Another thing I find so tres chic about Prinsloo's hairstyle is the ombre color. It's blended perfectly, so it appears natural and without much obvious demarcation. Talk about seamless shading!
