Tonight's Guest Is Kimmel's 'Mortal Enemy'

Jimmy Kimmel really hit one out of the ballpark with this one. Somehow, TV's most diabolical late night host has booked none other than his own mortal enemy, Kanye West, to appear on Jimmy Kimmel Live! tonight, in an effort to hash out their differences and possibly get into a fistfight that'll last to the death. OK, maybe that last part is an exaggeration, but you have to admit — there's at least a 60 percent chance one of them is getting punched tonight.

Kimmel announced the news on his Twitter page yesterday, tweeting, "TOMORROW NIGHT, MY GUEST WILL BE @kanyewest (for real, yes and was it all a setup, no)."

If you don't recall — Kimmel and West were involved in a Twitter feud for the ages last month, when West took offense to a sketch Kimmel aired on his TV show that featured children reading a transcript of the interview West did with BBC Radio 1 (to show how ridiculous it was).

West started it by posting a series of angry tweets directed at Kimmel, ranging from "JIMMY KIMMEL IS OUT OF LINE TO TRY AND SPOOF IN ANY WAY THE FIRST PIECE OF HONEST MEDIA IN YEARS" and "JIMMY KIMMEL PUT YOURSELF IN MY SHOES — OH NO THAT MEANS YOU WOULD HAVE GOTTEN TOO MUCH GOOD PUSSY IN YOUR LIFE."

I bet Kim Kardashian was real flattered with that one. Kimmel, to his credit, mostly just responded with tweets like, "I swear, @kanyewest one more of these I WILL unfollow you #warning #Goshdarnit."

West eventually deleted the tweets (possibly in an effort to delete the Twitter fight FROM REALITY), but it was too late — the feud was already in the books. Now, about two weeks later, the two are finally going to hash it out on TV. This is going to be amazing.

West's episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! will premiere on ABC tonight at 11:35 p.m.
