This May Be The Most Fashionable Circus Ever

by Tyler Atwood

Look no further than model Natalia Vodianova as a paragon of sartorial know-how and philanthropic genius. The famously charitable model and fellow influencer Karlie Kloss arranged the World's First Fabulous Fund Fair on February 24 to garner funding for the Naked Heart Foundation. Founded by Vodianova, the Naked Heart Foundation seeks to improve the resources and care available for young children, making the Fabulous Fund Fair's playful circus motif an ideal fit for the cause.

An elegant and eccentric night supporter by the likes of Christian Louboutin and Louis Vuitton, the Fabulous Fund Fair was a night of diverting amusements and treats. Thrill-seekers were encouraged to test-drive the Big Dipper, a station meant to mimic the famed roller coaster, while Vodianova retained control over the Guerlain Super Model Kissing Booth. In addition to a haute Dior ice cream cart, attendees enjoyed vegetarian hot dogs from Stella McCartney and a selection of Karlie's Kookies from the top model herself. In another corner of the room, renowned backstage beauty expert Pat McGrath offered her services for "face-painting" and Christian Louboutin crafted an obstacle course for stiletto-sporting guests.

The night's glamorously attired crowd were treated to a magic show from Dynamo before night's end, and even the most sullen of guests couldn't resist a grin at their host's jovial antics. Perhaps a charitable cause and a couture wardrobe are all Cirque de Soleil is missing to gain a foothold with the fashion crowd. After all, what could be more chic than a night of couture and candy designed to benefit children?
