Maisie Williams is a star on the rise. Best known for her portrayal of badass Arya Stark on Game of Thrones, the budding actress is garnering much positive attention as of late and now, Maisie Williams covers Dazed magazine! She looks as strikingly powerful as her on-screen alter ego in the image. It seems the IRL actress is not very different from her fictional persona after all.

The 17 year-old actress posed for the magazine's State of the Nation issue, which is all about celebrating young British talent who are forming their own cultural opinions, as related to the upcoming United Kingdom general election, according to Dazed. Williams looks like an appropriate spokesperson for the cause in the cover shot, donning a regal violet blazer paired with a white blouse tied high at the neck. Her jacket is adorned with large red, white, and blue British flag pins, giving the look an even more powerful feel.

Perhaps the best part is the caption placed under the image, reading "Maisie Williams Absolutely Lawless," tying into the rebellious nature of the star's on-and-offscreen vibe. Strong, bold brows, a single long earring, and very minimal makeup complete the tough-but-gorgeous picture. Take a look.

In another shot from the 10-page spread, Maisie rocks a burlap sac-like getup (no, really), and nothing underneath — she has never looked more raw or natural. Personally, I am a big fan of this simplistic look. Williams lets the frame do the talking, but still looks gorgeous (obviously). Check out the beautiful shot below.

I don't know about you, but I'm counting down the days until her Game of Thrones return.
