I should preface this post by saying that I'm inclined to take any gossip about Miley Cyrus these days with a grain of salt. The girl obviously sells tabloids, and once a publication figures out that a certain celebrity gets them more readership, they have a tendency to really latch on until they've completely destroyed the celeb's career. Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, Mischa Barton? We've seen it happen time and time again. So, y'know, forgive me if I read an article claiming Miley Cyrus wrote an "open letter" to Liam Hemsworth to ask him to "meet up" and don't immediately begin wondering if this means they're back together.
Regardless, here's what The Sun over in the UK is reporting: "As time has gone on and the anger subsided, Miley has really started to feel the pain of their split." Cue a symphony of violins softly playing "Wrecking Ball" in the distance. "She thought about writing some songs, but then decided why not write a letter to Liam to tell him exactly how she feels. Miley admitted to Liam she has pushed him away and said sorry for acting so mad." Apparently, the "mad" this source is referring to is that one time that Cyrus donated all of the clothes Hemsworth had at her house to a local charity shop in LA. Whoooops.
The course continues: "Miley says in her letter she still loves Liam deeply and has asked him to meet up. It could be for closure or it could be to start again, but she wants to see him and talk things through." Poor Miley. Cue that symphony of violins playing "Wrecking Ball" just a little bit louder in the distance.
Again, no word on how much of this is legit (I'm going to go with none of it). How long until the Internet blames this one on Obama too?
