Garrett Leight & Mark McNairy Collab For Eyewear

by Eliza Florendo

Garrett Leight and Mark McNairy are like two friends that can't get enough of each other. And why should they, when together, they make pretty much the coolest frames around in the eye game. Luckily for us, the optical experts and shoe designer are coming together for a Garrett Leight and Mark McNairy collaboration to give us the most badass eyeglasses and sunglasses for the upcoming summer months.

In 2013, the two collaborated for a collection of three frames in acetate and steel versions. But this time, their collab has a very specific, personal message. The Pinehurst model, which is a rounded frame, comes in either eyeglasses or sunglasses. Written in the upper temple is "Veni Vidi Vici,” or "I came, I saw, I conquered." How's that for for a message fit for a boss?

It doesn't stop there, of course, since McNairy is known for adding some pretty cool detailing to his designs. The tip of the temple also reads, "TCMB." And what on earth can that stand for? Well, it's an acronym for "Taking Care of Motherf*cking Business." I've never been more proud to wear glasses.

The classic frames come in three different color options: navy blue, tortoise, and storm, and they all look awesome. With such a classic round shape and wire bridge detailing, it's a frame that will never go out of style. You'll look just like you stepped out of a vintage photograph.

You can shop the Garrett Leight x Mark McNairy Pinehurst collection online. If you could, get me a pair, too?
