Ryan Seacrest Has A New Reality Show Coming

by Rachel Semigran

Ryan Seacrest has approximately 1 million jobs in show biz. He has his own production company, Top 40 radio show, and hosting gigs on everything on the planet from red carpets to the Olympics. So, when it was announced that A merican Idol was coming to an end after its final season airing in January 2016, no one was too worried about the future of its host. His next endeavor has just been announced, and it's right up his alley. Seacrest will be hosting Fox's Knock Knock Live, a reality TV series in which he arrives at people's homes to offer them life-changing experiences including mega-fans meeting their very favorite celeb or offering money to those who need the help. It's a little bit of Publisher's Clearing House meets Extreme Makeover: Home Edition meets MTV's FANatic.

Knock Knock Live will premiere on Tuesday, June 21 at 9 p.m. Summer programming is usually pretty barren, so Seacrest can certainly bank on Knock Knock being one of the few new shows out there until Fall. He also happens to be one of the most recognizable faces on the planet, due in part because he is, quite frankly, everywhere. However, there is a reason for Seacrest's omnipresent popularity — he's genuinely likable.

So if Ryan Seacrest shows up at your front door this summer, you might react a little something like this.

Are You Going to Make Me Sing?

Please, don't make me sing.

This is Going To End Up On YouTube

Dangit.

Is it New Year's Eve?

Crap, I slept through a lot.

YOU'RE NOT CARSON DALY!

I really miss TRL.

Where's J. Lo?

She's friends with Meryl Streep, and I am trying to be a part of that.

Wow, Your Skin Looks Even Better in Person

Like a baby's bottom!

Seriously, I Don't Have to Sing, Do I?

SERIOUSLY. Don't lie to me, Seacrest!
