This Week's Top 3 Celebrity Beauty Looks

by Candace Bryan

It's been a good week for celebrities, with plenty of events that ranged from the Glamour Women of Year Awards to basically the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, which was essentially the opposite of that. It was also an excellent week for celebrity makeup artists and stylists, and we saw a lot of A+ beauty looks all over the various red carpets.

However, there were three standouts from the week: celebrities whose looks were not merely perfect, but were also daring and inspirational. Here they are.

1. Jennifer Lawrence at the Hunger Games: Catching Fire Mardrid photocall. Everyone keeps talking about Jennifer Lawrence's hair on this Hunger Games world tour, and the different way she styles it at each event. Admittedly, her gravity-defying 'do from the Madrid premiere (as seen above) is pretty boss. Yet, at all these events, I can't stop staring at Lawrence's face. Her face has not merely been radiant the past few weeks, it's been other-worldly, especially in the picture below. Also, since she so frequently opts for intense black eyeliner, it's really refreshing to see the eye makeup toned down.

2. Lupita Nyong'o at the GQ Men of the Year Awards. It's no secret we kind of love Lupita Nyong'o here at Bustle. It's also no secret I have an affinity for out-of-the-box lip color. So it should surprise no one that I kind of had a freak-out when I saw the actress rocking this awesome berry shade. It's also impressive how classy she made sparkly eye shadow look.

3. Coco Rocha at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards. Oftentimes, people with fair skin are really self-conscious about wearing blush, being afraid it might look to unnatural. Not Coco. At the Glamour event she rocked heavy orange blush with pride, and I have to say, with the bright lip and winged eyeliner, she pretty much killed it.

Inspiring for your weekend? Why, yes, I think so.
