Kate Middleton Makes Her First Public Appearance Post-Baby, Looks Totally Ladylike (No One Is Surprised)

Ladies and gentlemen, the Duchess of Cambridge has officially made her first public appearance since announcing the birth of Princess Charlotte. Kate Middleton attended Trooping the Colour (aka the Queen's birthday parade) in typical Middleton high style. I’d expect nothing less from the duchess, of course. When it comes to ladylike fashion, nobody does it quite like Kate. Wearing a circular white hat with a feather as embellishment and a baby blue coat, Middleton looked prim and proper, as always. The white floral pattern on her coat perfectly matched her hat and that shade of blue really works wonders for her complexion.

Although she’s not wearing a Pippa design, I still really loved her look. She looks absolutely radiant after having just given birth. And possibly the sweetest part of this whole event was that the new mom matched her outfit to Prince George’s (who was also wearing white and blue) for his first public appearance on a Buckingham Palace balcony. It’s just too sweet!

And while the family did have one member absent, the little princess herself, they looked adorable and so happy together. I can’t wait to see more of them, especially with Princess Charlotte in tow. What a beautiful family!
