Laverne Cox Wears Summer Crop Top & Sheer Skirt

With a new season on Netflix to binge-watch (if you haven't finished already), this really means one thing for fashion— more stylish appearances by the cast. Laverne Cox slayed in an all-black ensemble, and shared the look with her followers on Instagram.

Though not exactly breaking news — because let's be real, Cox kills on the red carpet all the time — she shined in yet another stunning ensemble. This time, Cox proved that she can rock basically all the summer trends in one look. Combining a high-waisted pencil skirt featuring sheer and eyelet paneling, with a pleated, flowy crop top, Cox looked classically stunning, but in a fresh, summery way.

I'm personally loving the continuation of the crop top trend, especially since there are so many ways to wear them, and Cox definitely proved that with this look. Pairing a loose-fitted top with a fitted pant or skirt is definitely a chic way to rock a crop top without revealing too much if you don't want to. Paired with her new, '70s-inspired fringe and natural makeup, Cox has once again stunned her fans with style.

Oh, and to make this look even better, Cox switched from studded heels into flats so she could rock the NYC sidewalk in the rain, and take flawless, candid photos. That's right, she looks like that, even in the rain.
