Gone are the days of hurriedly exiting out of the porn window on your browser, whether an accidental pop-up at work, or an unexpected porn-terruption by your parent, roommate, or partner. And this is largely because you can privately stream porn on your smartphone. It's way harder to register telltale flesh-toned disembodied hips thrusting on that tiny screen than it is to spot it on a laptop. Plus, with better 3G and 4G coverage, streaming porn videos on the go is more accessible than ever. Porn companies know this and are pretty savvy about tailoring their sites to be mobile-friendly above all else.
According to a new study, a staggering 136 billion porn videos are estimated to be streamed via smartphone this year, with researchers projecting the number to be closer to 193 billion by the year 2020. That's a 55 percent increase in the next five years.
The same study estimates that each smartphone user will consume an average of 348 porn videos this year.
Porn apps are the great frontier in the adult entertainment industry, but they're definitely verboten in the App Store and on Google Play. So a little digging into the dark and chlorine-scented corners of the internet yield a few apps that are well-designed and pleasing customers.
Unfortunately, most of the good porn apps on the market are super heteronormative, uber-male-gazey, standard "tube site" type porn. Which totally does it for some folks and that's great! If you're looking for a bit more diversity, though, membership sites like Crash Pad Series, QueerPorn.tv, and Kink.com have pretty solid mobile browsing enabled. Otherwise, it's worth checking out some of the apps below.

The PornHub app is basically a perfectly tailor-made version of the site for your phone. It's professional-looking and easy to navigate, with fewer ads to accidentally click on than your average crappy dating app.
2. SexTube
If you need a ~stealth~ app on your phone, SexTube is a good incognito option. Its launch icon is a cog labeled "Sys Config," for undercover porn browsing. It features less prolific search results than PornHub, but makes up for it with good variety and simple design (and it's multi-lingual!).
3. Mikandi
Mikandi is sort of a full-service adult app, featuring adult-themed games and other content, plus porn which can be purchased in-app. (Yes, this is a weird Inception-style apps in apps in apps app.) You do have to pay for the video content, but according to some dutiful porn sleuths out there, the content seems to be exclusive to the app, which is unique.
4. Badoink HD
Badoink HD makes the list for having both a gay and a straight version, but it's also well organized in terms of genre variety.
5. Pure Hentai
Did you think I was going to leave you out, Hentai lovers? Am I a monster? Pure Hentai delivers on your erotic anime needs, and it's generally regarded as the best of its genre by people who have researched this at length.
