Kate Hudson Attended London's Serpentine Gallery Party And Rocked A Feminine "Le Smoking" (With A Major Thigh Slit)

Who says tuxedo dressing requires a suit? Kate Hudson attended London's Serpentine Gallery party, and wore sparkling black and white separates that put a feminine spin on the classic "le smoking" look.

The 36-year-old actress attended the party in London's Kensington Gardens on Thursday night, wearing a crisp white, sleeveless turtleneck (which is basically the perfect piece to transition into fall fashion, gotta think ahead!), tucked into a black sequin maxi skirt with a serious thigh slit. The sparkling skirt showed off the How To Lose a Guy in 10 Days star's insanely toned legs. Teach us your ways, Kate.

Hudson paired her ensemble with nude, patent leather Christian Louboutin pumps, and a fun and playful zebra print clutch box bag. She had her blonde bob styled in beachy waves and wore a smokey eye, so even though the silhouette and color scheme were polished and classic, she still brought her signature edge to the look.

As flawless as she looked, Kate did have one "oopsies" moment when she lost her balance and almost fell over posing for photos (which, as you can imagine, is problematic with a thigh slit), but she still managed to make clumsy look super adorable. Only Kate.
