Diane Shows Us How To Wear Black In The Summer

Summer might be all about the light, bright, and white, but Diane Kruger's Women in Film jumpsuit is making a serious case for black in the summer. (And also for jumpsuits in general — the one piece is seriously the silhouette of 2015).

The German actress stepped out for the Women in Film cocktail party at Barney's in Beverly Hills on Monday, and instead of dressing for the heat in a mini skirt or summer dress, Kruger opted to cover completely up in a jumpsuit and jacket, while also wearing all black. So clearly, she's not about any conventional style norms. And just to keep mixing things up, she also rocked some serious mixed prints while she was at it. We really couldn't love her more.

The Inglorious Basterds star's black, Giambattista Valli jumpsuit featured a white, geometric motif all over it, and her black jacket had a white floral design. So hey — she's sneaking those summer lights and florals in there, somewhere! Kruger paired the chic, monochromatic ensemble with black heeled sandals and a black and white shoulder bag. With her hair in loose, undone curls, the 39-year-old looked classic and polished, but still brought her personality to the outfit.
