If you tuned into Sunday night's red carpet show to see what's new and amazing in fashion, then look no further than Danielle Brooks at the 2017 SAG Awards. The OITNB star didn't just get dressed for the occasion — she looked positively other-worldly.
The actress wore her hair twisted sky-high atop her head, which was badass enough on its own. But she also added hair jewelry in the form of a silver chain dangling down the front. It showed off the height of her hair and brought the eye down to her gorg face.
To further add to her beamed-from-a-spaceship look, Brooks rocked a structured white Christian Siriano top, which had a mock turtle neck and stunning embroidery. This was all paired with pants.
Speaking to E! News, Brooks noted that she didn't want to be hot on the red carpet, and that pants were her best bet for staying cool. (I'm with you on that one, girl.)
As for her makeup? It was also, of course, perfection. Her look was created by NYC and LA-based makeup artist Brandy Allen and it was just as amazing as the rest of her. Long lashes, a nude lip, and a certain glow that was perfect for someone nominated for a SAG Award. Take a look at her outfit below.
