Well, it’s only the fourth episode of the season for Real Housewives Of New York, and the pot is already boiling over. If the arguments are this loud already, what can I expect for the rest of the season? Should I go to Costco and invest in a pallet of antacids? These women are giving me an ulcer, especially when Dorinda exploded at Sonja on Real Housewives Of New York, and much of the things she said were less than polite.
Sonja and Dorinda have been having it out since Dorinda didn’t invite Sonja to the Berkshires a season ago. Sonja should be over it by now, but instead she’s being wishy washy with her friends and allegedly talking about the other housewives in the New York papers. Dorinda apparently had it up to here, because at Ramona’s dinner party, she went off. And when I mean she went off, I can’t think of another argument that was as mean-spirited as this one. Dorinda called Sonja a liar and a fraud; shamed her for dancing with a stripper at Luann’s bachelorette party; said she was a “disgusting, pathetic, delusional fool”; and compared her to the women of Grey Gardens. That was a lot, even for Dorinda. Dorinda is usually pretty classy when it comes to takedowns, but I guess she just hit her breaking point. On the plus side, it did give birth to one of the best new Housewives lines ever: “Not well, b*tch,” which was a part of Dorinda’s rant to Candace Bushnell, who was a guest at the party. Yes, the creator of Sex And The City was witness to this crazy.
Welp! The weirdest thing about this fight wasn’t the fight itself but the reaction the day after — Sonja and Dorinda basically just hugged it out and called the whole thing off. I’m sorry, but if someone said those things to me, I don’t think I would be so kind the morning after, no matter how many Diet Cokes they had the night before. I can hold a grudge — apparently, this is where Dorinda and Sonja’s grudges end.
