Urban Decay Is Releasing A Mini Version Of The Naked Heat Palette & It's Straight Fire

Hold on to your shading brushes, because something big, er, small is coming. According to the Instagram post, Urban Decay created a Naked Petite Heat Palette that's basically a baby version of the one that you already love. It's coming your way super soon and there is some important information (read: swatches) that you need to see.

On Feb. 4, Urban Decay teased their fans about a hot new launch. It turns out it's the Naked Petite Heat Palette. The six-shade eyeshadow collection is the little sister of the Naked Heat Palette. At first glance, it looks like these are the same shades in the previous palette, but they're not. Every single one — Inhale, Vibrate, Hot Spell, Wild Thing, Heist, and Strike — is brand new but have the same warm tones. Hence the name.

According to the Instagram post, the mini palette has five matte shades plus one demi-matte highlighting shade. Basically, you have everything you need to create a variety of eye looks, but also a slightly shimmery one to switch things up. The darkest shade could also opt as a liner, making it a totally practical purchase.

If the idea alone doesn't make you want to stock up on the tiny little palette of goodness, then maybe the swatches will.

According to Urban Decay's Instagram post, the Naked Petite Heat will be available on the brand's website on Feb. 22. International fans will have to wait though. The palette will launch in Canada and Europe on Mar. 1 and in Mexico on May 1. It's definitely worth the wait.

The only detail that has been yet to be released is the price of the palette. There's a good chance that it will be around $29. That's a whole lot cheaper than the full-sized palette, which is available at Sephora for $54.

Whether you have the previous Naked Heat Palette or not, you're going to want to stock up on the mini version. Because the shades are all different, you can easily use the two palettes together. Both are nice for travel, but the Naked Petite Heat can fit in your purse for day-to-day use as well.

This isn't the first mini palette that the brand has created. After Urban Decay's Naked Basics Palette came out, they release a Naked Basic mini collections to go along with it. They did the same thing for the Naked Basics 2 Palette. The most recent launch is the same idea, but with warm toned shades instead.

The launch makes a whole lot of sense for two main reasons. The first is that it gives fans another incredible product to obsess over. Naked Heat took the beauty world by storm as soon as it was announced and the glowing reviews only made it yet another cult palette by the brand. The second reason is that it gives people who can't afford the full-sized palette a more affordable way to shop.

There's no doubt that this mini palette will be just as popular as the first full-size option. It's convenient, more affordable, and has just as great of colors. You know, minus all of the shimmery reds that come in the original palette.

Set your alarms and get your wallet ready, because this is the biggest, er, smallest thing since the original palette. This will likely be a permanent item available on the Urban Decay website, but you still won't want to miss out on the initial launch.
