Who Designed Sarah Jessica Parker's 2017 Golden Globes Dress? It's A Bridal Fave — PHOTOS
How's this for irony? Sarah Jessica Parker's new and much-talked-about HBO series Divorce follows her character Frances and her husband attempting to consciously uncouple. SJP's 2017 Golden Globes dress was a gorgeous, shoulder-baring, belted, and full-skirted white frock created by a beloved designer of bridal gowns! Who designed Sarah Jessica Parker's 2017 Golden Globes gown?
SJP's 2017 Golden Globes gown was designed by Vera Wang. It was a fluffy, winter white confection that had a cold-shoulder top and really long, bunched sleeves. In an Insta post she shared while on her way to the ceremony, the fashion icon noted that her look was all about dem details.
From the back, the dress looked like it had a train and it was certainly quite bridal in its aesthetic.
SJP also carried a black clutch with her white dress, adding a bit of contrast. She also wore her hair swept off her face and off her neck in a milkmaid-style braid, so that all attention could be focused on that dress.
Is it me or does this gown look like something her former alter ego Carrie Bradshaw would have worn to a formal gala with Big? I think most Sex and the City fans will agree with my assessment of SJP's dress.
Let's observe SJP's breathtaking 2017 Golden Globes dress, shall we?
It was a lot of look but it worked.
Here is the up close Insta post where SJP referenced the importance of details!
