Anam Syed is the writer/director of The Pink Sorrys, an acid punk Bollywood musical about gender violence in India. When not working on black comedies about serious matters, she's the Media Director of entertainment start-up cARTel: Collaborative Arts LA, where she works with the team that produces megafestival BROKECHELLA. An Angeleno by way of Karachi, Dubai, and Saudi Arabia, she's also an unapologetic TV junkie.
