Erin Wisti

Erin Wisti is an essayist currently living in Los Angeles whose work focuses on food, television, literature, and language. Her essays have previously appeared in Vice, Electric Literature, NPR's The Salt, The Establishment, and other places. She grew up in rural Michigan but was never an outdoorsy person, which gave her a lot of free time to stay inside and hone the overthinking skills she now uses to write prolonged analyses on everything from popular television shows to Cornish meat pies. When she's not writing, she's busy baking, reading, and hanging out with her cat Murphy who she admits is kind of terrible but loves anyway. Find her on Twitter at @ErinWisti.
