Gabrielle Ulubay is a writer and filmmaker from the NYC area and her interests include history, social justice, travel, and art. As an undergraduate, she studied history with minors in cinema studies and international affairs at Northeastern University in Boston. Since graduating, she has spent time in Ireland and in Cuba, and has worked in public history, advocacy, and higher education. Most recently, Gabrielle has studied for a Master's in Film & Screen Media at University College Cork in Cork, Ireland, where she focused on film writing and feminist filmmaking. So far, her writing has been published by The New York Times, Film Ireland, the #DirectedByWomen Initiative, O'Bheal, Hey Alma Magazine, and the Nuance Research Journal.
