We are honoring young women who are making an impact in the arts, philanthropy, business, STEM, and beyond.
For the third year in a row, Bustle's Upstart Awards are honoring young women who are doing incredible things in business, STEM, fashion and beauty, the arts, philanthropy, and beyond. Whether they are designing an ethical handbag line, teaching girls to write code, or spearheading microfinancing for women in the developing world, we want to hear about them.
Bustle is looking for young women who are using their prodigious talents to make an impact, to do good, or to change the world. Our 2017 nominees will get a trip to New York City for a fall 2017 event, a feature on Bustle, and access to professional development tools and a community of accomplished women. Past honorees include Afghani journalist Mahnaz Rezaie, scientist Olivia Pavco-Giaccia, artist Taylor Yocom, and trans health advocate Blossom Brown.
