This App Will Solve Your "What To Wear" Woes

by Dana Reszutek

If you're a sufferer of the "I have nothing to wear" syndrome, it seems that new app Stuff n Style is just the thing to solve all your fashion-related problems. Stuff n Style can basically serve as your mobile personal stylist, helping you choose what to wear for any occasion.

All you have to do is upload your wardrobe to your "digital closet," and request a styling from the Stuff n Style team, who will help you choose which items to wear for a specific event, whether it's work or a night out.

And if you're someone who prefers a little style inspo (because who doesn't), the app lets you take a look at other people's closets too. Pretty cool, right? If you're in need of some organization, the calendar feature on the app will let you plan your outfits ahead, which, for anyone who has experienced those last minutes outfit changes, seems like a genius idea.

Though not as cool as a real-life Clueless closet, I think that Stuff n Style is definitely a close second. The fact that you can seek a professional's opinion as well as be style-inspired by your fellow app-users makes for the perfect tool for fashionable smartphone fans.

Stuff n Style seems like a pretty good app overall, but it's definitely not the first style aid for your phone. Here are some other fashion and shopping apps to consider depending on your style needs.

If you tend to use street style as your main form of wardrobe inspo, ASAP54 may be just what you need. The fashion app lets you snap a pic of your latest fashion find, and search it through their database to track it down. Scroll through to see the exact item, or pieces that are super-similar, and see if what you're looking for is available online.

Pose

Pose is basically a fashion inspiration/shopping app all rolled into one. This app lets you post your daily "pose," or outfit of the day, tagging whatever items you're wearing, so you can keep tabs for the next time you go shopping, or even buy or sell between other users.

PS Dept

If you love fashion but shopping isn't exactly your favorite activity (trust me, I can relate), PS Dept gets you in touch with stylists who work with over 40 brands to help you find that perfect something without you leaving your couch. Here's the catch — PS Dept currently works with only high-end brands, from Fendi to Celine, so if you're on a budget, you may want to look elsewhere for that dream personal shopper.

Stylect

Stylect has been called the Tinder for shoes, and it's not because you choose a pair and it really isn't what you expected. This app allows you to swipe through thousands of shoes, filtering though brands, sizes, etc., so you can find your perfect pair. And, once you find it, Stylect shows you the best places to buy online, and voila — a real match made in heaven.
