Here's Your Weekly Horoscope For Aug 29-Sept 4

We’re constantly fascinated by what our zodiac sign says about our lives, whether it's which signs are most compatible, the best sex positions for each sign, or how each sign handles conflict in relationships. That's why Bustle has enlisted Mecca Woods, a New York City-based Astrologer of MyLifeCreated.com to tell us all about how astrology is affecting our lives each week. This week's topic: your weekly horoscope for the week of August 29-September 4.

This is going to be one heck of a week with the planets seemingly going in different directions. However, the underlying thread to all the cosmic activity this week will revolve around one word: improvement. The week opens with Venus moving back home to Libra, putting an emphasis on how we mate and relate, followed by Mercury retrograde in Virgo on the August 30. Since Mercury retrogrades are best spent reflecting on or reconnecting with the past, under this retrograde our best bet will be to reassess, refine or re-evaluate the effectiveness of the systems, methods, and habits we currently have in place (especially in the areas of work and health).

The Solar Eclipse in Virgo on September 1 will add to the vibe, by incorporating this Mercury retrograde story. In order to move forward we will need to repair (or toss out) whatever we currently have on our plate. With Venus in Libra in the mix, part of this work will be around bettering how we communicate and get along with others. At the end of the week (September 2), Saturn (reality, responsibility) will square off for the second time with Neptune (dreams, fantasy) putting us in a conflict between what we wish for and what’s right in front of us. Thankfully, Virgo (and this Mercury retrograde) is here to show us that any dream can be achieved with a sensible plan behind it.

As usual with any Mercury retrograde, watch out for travel delays, misunderstandings, tech glitches/problems, and other mix-ups.

Aries (March 21 - April 19)

This is your best week to re-prioritize what’s important and what’s not, especially when it comes to your work-life balance. With the help of the stars you could find motivation to restart a job search, redistribute your workload, or put an end to a bad habit. The same old thing won’t cut it now.

Taurus (April 20 - May 20)

Love and adventure are on the menu as your chances are high for meeting someone new, rekindling the love you have, rediscovering an old passion, or embarking on a new adventure. With love, watch out for miscommunications or exes who have no place in your life now. It’s time to remember fun.

Gemini (May 21 - June 20)

Your home life is the focus as some of you may opt to relocate or move back home, reconnect with relatives, revitalize your space, or look to ways to improve your sense of security and stability. If children are in the picture, you may seek to offer them more structure now. Overall, find your calm.

Cancer (June 21 - July 22)

Now’s the time to improve how you package/deliver your genius. Look to returning to school, devoting more time to your craft, reconnecting with former contacts, or rekindling an idea you may have put on the back-burner. On the back end, back up your tech/files and anticipate travel delays.

Leo (July 23 - August 22)

Starting this week, pay extra attention to how you make and spend your cash. As part of this evaluation, you may opt to re-plan your budget, keep better records, or work to heal any wounds you may have around scarcity. Now’s the time to focus on the long term. Watch for any accounting errors.

Virgo (August 23 - September 22)

You may have a feeling of déjà vu as you’re called to re-evaluate your current direction. You’re in the midst of a major self-reinvention which is pushing you to make big changes in how you approach life and relationships. As a result, you’re pushed to release what or who has been holding you back.

Libra (September 23 - October 22)

Time for a check-up, Libra, or rather a check-in. With the more private and introspective side of you being called upon this week, your mission is to re-evaluate if you’re feeling as good as you can be. If you’ve been feeling rather heavy, look to this week to restart your self-care routine. Take it slow.

Scorpio (October 23 - November 21)

You may be working to bring your network up to speed this week. With the right amount of planning and charisma, you could connect with some top influencers in your area of interest. An old acquaintance could help you with the introductions. Just watch out for any miscommunication.

Sagittarius (November 22 - December 21)

You may find yourself moving to the top of the career ladder or receiving some major accolades for your hard work. Whatever new opportunities that appear now will be a result of something you already have in the works. In the meantime, maintain your professionalism and think big decisions through.

Capricorn (December 22 - January 19)

It’s time to reassess whether you still believe what you believed years ago. How about months ago? How about days ago? If there’s one message that 2016 has been trying to get across to you is that you must challenge your old ways of thinking. This week, that message will be especially strong.

Aquarius (January 20 - February 18)

As someone who tends to think of others before yourself, the message this week is to guard your resources. Look to ways to reduce debt, better save your money for financial security, and keep your eyes on where every cent is going. With relationships, it may be time to set healthier boundaries.

Pisces (February 19 - March 20)

Expect major developments on the love front this week, as the planets join forces to help you start anew in your romantic life. Though a significant relationship could begin, end, or take a huge step forward, you’re urged to take it slow. Whatever the direction you take, authenticity should be the driving force.
