Shop These Beauty Products For Your Vegan Friends

by Rosie W.

Though nobody can say that the holidays are lacking in whimsy, it can be argued that finding vegan, cruelty-free holiday makeup isn't such a venture. Part of being vegan is accepting that you are going to spend a lot of time Googling your purchases until you discover which brands fit your ideals. Fortunately, with the power of the internet at our fingertips, being vegan is easier now than ever. There are apps that tell you whether a product is cruelty-free after you scan a barcode. (Something I learned while writing this article: cruelty-free and vegan mean two different things.) Plus, there's an entire online community of vegan or cruelty-free beauty bloggers who have done all the ingredient-sifting legwork for you, allowing vegans to breezily pick up their pick of products at their local beauty emporium, rather than spend an hour mining through the subatomic-sized print of ingredient lists.

So, whether you're a vegan or you're scratching your head at what to buy for a vegan friend or family member this season, don't sweat it: there are plenty of festive options. Here are the top vegan makeup products perfect for creating a glitter-tastic holiday look.
