After ages of speculation and three months since she actually announced her pregnancy, Us Weekly is reporting that Christina Ricci has given birth to a baby boy, her first child with husband James Heerdegen. Say it with me now: Aww! Though the name of the child hasn't been released yet, I'm gonna go ahead and assume it's something super Hollywood and super chic, like Indiana (Casey Affleck and Summer Phoenix's son's name!) or Kyd (again — David Duchovny and Tea Leoni's son's name).
Though Ricci's rep didn't comment to Us Weekly about the couple's new bundle of joy, her rep did release the following public statement confirming that Ricci did indeed give birth: "[The couple] are thrilled and ready for a change of pace." That's good, since a baby is, of course, a huge change of pace.
Heerdegen and Ricci have been married since 2013, after they met on the set of her failed 2011 series Pan Am. Her pregnancy was revealed only this past May after she was photographed at LAX with a noticeable baby bump, but no other info as far as her due date or the gender of the baby was divulged. Apparently, she must have been about six months along at the time — it kind of feels like she literally just announced the pregnancy!
