Camila Cabello Joins Taylor Swift Gang

by Daniela Cabrera

When I turned 18 years old, I had a totally awkward surprise party with some of my "kind of" friends from my super tiny high school and I prefer not to remember it. This apparently does not happen when you are turning 18 years old and in a super successful pop group like Fifth Harmony, because on March 3 Fifth Harmony's Camila Cabello celebrated her 18th birthday with an AMAZING girls night. And who were the ladies that helped Cabello ring in her first year of legal-dom? None other than Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, Hailee Steinfeld, Sarah Hyland, the women of Haim, Jamie King, Hayley Williams, and Joey King. Eeee!

After my initial excitement over seeing Swift and Gomez back together again, my jealousy started seeping in because this is one incredible group of talented ladies supporting each other, and there are very few things I love more than that. I have seen plenty of photos of Cabello's birthday guests already vacationing together, hanging out and all of those lovely things, but I've personally never seen Cabello pop up in Swift's infamous girlfriend gang before. Now that I think of it, there is probably no better way to be introduced and initiated into this amazing group of ladies than on your 18th birthday, amiright?

Some of the girls posted cute photos of the group snuggling during their fun night, but I am taking it upon myself to imagine what else went down at this birthday party went because I'm sure it was nothing short of epic.

Taylor Baked The Cake, Of Course

Swift loves baking for her friends and family, so it only makes sense that she would bake Cabello's two birthday cakes. Since Cabello is Cuban and from Miami like I am, I hope there was a little rum cake action going on. It's the best kind of cake there is and I'm sure she agrees.

They Found The Perfect Playlist To Get Dressed To

One of my favorite things to do with my best friends is to throw together a playlist with all of our favorite guilty pleasure song as we start getting ready for a night out. Since it's a ladies night, I want to believe that there was a lot of Spice Girls and Madonna playing in the background.

They Started Planning A Vacation Together

Since Cabello seems to be new to this girl gang, I think she needs to be properly inducted with a girls getaway. Swift has gone on road trips with Karlie Kloss and recently went to Hawaii with the ladies of Haim, so I'm thinking a Spring Breakers style vacation should be in the cards soon. Well, without that whole bank robbery thing.

Recreated Beyoncé's 7/11 Video

OK, maybe it's just that it's my inner most desire to do with my best friends, but they had the perfect amount of girls to complete that pyramid in the bathroom, and I am hoping they hear me in this.

They Did Some Crazy Rounds Of Karaoke

Once they noshed on Swift's delish cake, it would be a crazy missed opportunity if some of the biggest names in pop music didn't have an epic karaoke showdown. I am going to guess Gomez did her impressive "Super Bass" cover and Cabello did a throwback to her X-Factor audition with Aretha Franklin's "Respect."

And Then, They Danced The Night Away

Because when you're with your best friends and celebrating your 18th birthday, this is the only thing that matters.
