Selena Is Inspiring Justin Bieber's New Album

Beiber fans, get ready to feel a lot of emotions, because Justin Bieber says Selena Gomez inspired his new album. While chatting with Ryan Seacrest on Friday, Bieber revealed details about his upcoming music, and, of course, Gomez was discussed, but not in a bad way. The 21-year-old singer unveiled that their emotional roller coaster of a relationship will be part of his album. He's even saying how much Gomez and the time they dated is influencing his work.

I think a lot of my inspiration comes from [Selena]. It was a long relationship that created heartbreak and created happiness and a lot of different emotions that I wanted to write about. There’s a lot of that on this album.

It also seems that Kanye West, who Bieber is working with in the studio alongside Def Jam co-founder Rick Rubin, is pushing the young musician to go above and beyond his potential. Bieber has nothing but respect for Kanye, as he said,

I’ve been in the studio with him for the past month or so. He just pushes you. He definitely wants it to be my way and my direction and he doesn’t want to steal what I want. That’s why artists like to go to him, because he pulls something out of you that other people don’t.

I don't know if Bieber's music will be as heartbreaking or as emotional as Gomez's "The Heart Wants What It Wants," but it might stir up the past and bad memories. However, sometimes music heals all wounds, at least for musicians, so maybe Bieber's new music will be just what the doctor ordered. With that said, you know the songs will be super emotional, so get ready to see a different side of Justin Bieber.
